Planned gifts to the Museum of Science have benefits that last a lifetime — and beyond — for both the Museum and its donors.
When you include the Museum in planning your estate, you may be able to reduce your tax burden, increase your income, and create a legacy for your family.
In addition, the Museum recognizes its legacy donors through The Washburn Society.
There are a number of gift planning options, from a bequest in your will to life-income gifts, which provide you with income for a period of time before the Museum may use your gift. Gifts of all denominations are welcomed at any time, and may include cash, securities, and other gifts. Unrestricted contributions may be made in any amount, and are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows.
